About the role#
As a College Financial Representative, you build an integrated financial planning practice from the ground up. You will gain experience by working with local and national experts while using professional planning software. This role provides a framework to help people reach their financial goals while you develop your own professional network and skills.
What you'll do#
- Prospect and network to grow your client base.
- Create and carry out a business strategy.
- Reach out to potential clients to set meetings.
- Learn about client financial goals to prepare plans and offer recommendations.
- Participate in weekly coaching, training, and development meetings.
- Obtain state licensing for Life, Accident, and Health insurance.
- Build professional life skills.
What you'll need#
- You are a full-time student, preferably a junior or senior.
- You have an interest in sales and entrepreneurial goals.
- You are active on campus as a leader, athlete, or member of student organizations.
- You have strong time-management skills.
- You are interested in financial literacy and planning tools.
- You possess business savvy and a desire to improve your critical thinking.

- Location: Tucson, Arizona.
- Work modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- The term is rolling, allowing for year-round participation.
- Academic focus: Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Marketing.
