About the role#
College Financial Representatives build an integrated financial planning practice from the ground up. You will gain experience by working with local and nationwide experts while using proprietary planning software. This program offers a flexible schedule that works around your classes and personal life. You may choose to participate year-round to continue growing your practice.
What you'll do#
- Prospect and network to build your business and client base.
- Develop and execute a business strategy.
- Call on potential clients to set meetings and understand their financial goals.
- Prepare plans and offer recommendations.
- Engage in weekly coaching, training, and development meetings.
- Obtain Risk Product State Licensing for Life, Accident, and Health.
- Build life skills that support future career opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Full-time student status, with preference for juniors and seniors.
- Entrepreneurial ambitions and a curiosity for sales.
- High level of involvement on campus, such as leadership, athletics, or student organizations.
- Excellent time-management skills.
- Interest in financial literacy and planning tools.
- Business savvy and a desire to increase critical thinking abilities.
Location & details#
- Location: Bend, Oregon.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: Performance-based earnings, productivity bonuses, and learning and development incentives.
- Licensing Support: The company provides support for insurance licensing and registrations for the SIE, Series 6, and Series 63 exams.
