About the role#
We are looking for a Wealth Advisor Associate Intern to join our team in Santa Barbara. This is a part-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work alongside a high-performing team of advisors, gaining exposure to the wealth management industry with the goal of developing your skills for future growth within the firm.
What you'll do#
- Support the advisor team with business development and client service tasks.
- Provide technical financial support and contribute to research projects.
- Create presentation materials for clients.
- Assist with data gathering, drafting goals, and building financial plans.
- Participate in client service meetings, sales presentations, and the onboarding of new clients.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
- You have an expected graduation date in the Spring of 2028.
- You possess a basic knowledge of investments, economics, accounting, and financial planning.
- You are a self-starter who proactively solves problems and asks questions.
- You have excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- You are proficient in the MS Office Suite, including the ability to create complex, impactful presentations and analysis.
- You have the ability to communicate, present, and influence your team effectively.
