About the role#
As a Finance Analyst Intern in our Southeast District, you will support the business management of construction projects. You will work on tasks including cost control, payroll, accounts payable, and human capital management. This role provides exposure to the financial side of projects ranging from $1 million to $4 billion. You will assist with month-end close processes and prepare financial reporting packages for project management.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Operations team to support project needs.
- Manage payroll and HR workflows, including hiring and termination processes.
- Oversee purchasing workflows, invoice payments, and accounts payable.
- Troubleshoot payment or vendor issues as they arise.
- Handle intercompany and client billing documentation.
- Review costs, quantity claiming, and budget structures for accuracy.
- Identify and adjust forecast and budget discrepancies.
- Implement Corporate Compliance programs, including EEO and labor laws.
- Maintain an organized work environment and provide support to team members.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Business Administration.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with Pivot Tables and V-Look Ups is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify discrepancies and pay close attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and improve processes.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to access all parts of a construction site in various climates and environments.

- Travel and Relocation: This position may require travel or relocation of up to 50%.
- Requirements: You must be able to relocate anywhere in the country as needed by project demands.
