About the role#
As a Finance/Accounting Intern, you will assist with general accounting activities, financial reconciliations, fixed assets, inventory, and accounts receivable. You will work under the supervision of professional staff to support month-end closing, process improvements, and the maintenance of accurate financial records.
What you'll do#
- Assist with month-end closing, including performing journal entries and writing standard operating procedures.
- Conduct a fixed asset audit by working with operations to verify that assets on the books exist in the business.
- Create journal entries to record asset disposals.
- Perform winter inventory counts at all company locations.
- Maintain the Chart of Accounts by deactivating accounts and rerouting mappings to preferred accounts.
- Create standardized balance sheet reconciliations and review month-end reconciliations from key account holders.
- Assist with cash receipting and accounts receivable collection efforts.
- Help reconcile construction in progress and fixed assets while reworking current processes.
- Manage the setup of assets in Vista, linking them to equipment and sunsetting CCH.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of an Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- A genuine interest in the accounting field.

- This is an on-site, full-time internship based in York, Pennsylvania.
- The term for this position is Winter 2027.
- This is a paid internship.
