About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in construction management. You will work on marine and heavy civil projects, supporting field operations and learning the daily functions required for a career in construction. This is a paid, full-time position for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Manage and support project safety, quality, and compliance programs.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications for field crews.
- Prepare work plans and detailed work packages.
- Coordinate the ordering and delivery of project materials.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- You can work full-time from May through August 2027.
- You are willing to travel and relocate based on business needs.
- You are physically able to access all areas of a construction site in various climates and environments.
- You possess strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- You are highly organized with a strong focus on time management and attention to detail.
- You have a demonstrated commitment to ethics, integrity, and safety.
