About the role#
The Corporate Finance Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week internship. You will work as a full member of the team, gaining exposure similar to a first-year analyst. You will interact with professionals at all levels through seminars, discussion groups, and social functions. This is not a rotational program. You will be paired with a senior mentor to support your work throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Product Control: Perform daily and monthly P&L reconciliation and reporting. Provide commentary on P&L drivers and work with trading desks and operations to resolve valuation issues.
- Independent Portfolio Valuations: Verify pricing models, methodologies, and fair value determinations. Test model inputs to ensure the integrity of trading book valuations.
- Cash Management and Analytics: Analyze and present performance data for the Americas. Produce ad hoc financial reports and conduct trend analyses.
- Financial Control: Manage month-end close processes, reconcile accounts, and prepare financial statements.
- Control and Oversight: Conduct quality assurance reviews of balance sheet activities and manage the account attestation process to ensure internal controls are effective.
- Regulatory Reporting: Assist in preparing the monthly FOCUS report and analyze daily net capital requirements for the broker-dealer.
- Strategic Initiatives: Manage a portfolio of change initiatives. This includes defining objectives, creating delivery plans, tracking milestones, and reporting on progress.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or FinTech.
- You must have a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029 at a United States college or university.
- A minimum GPA of 3.2 is required.
- You must have current authorization to work for any employer in the United States. We do not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills are necessary.
- You should have an interest in and ability to understand financial products.

- Compensation: This is a paid position. The base salary is $65,000 per year for rising juniors and $75,000 per year for rising seniors.
