About the role#
This internship provides exposure to corporate treasury functions within the financial services industry. You will assist the team with financial analysis, reporting, and administrative tasks while gaining experience in financing transactions and market research. The role involves managing multiple projects, coordinating with various stakeholders, and using data to support business decisions.
What you'll do#
- Support financial analysis and reporting by evaluating data and monitoring market or competitor trends.
- Prepare reports based on historical information, trends, and forecasts.
- Provide administrative and transaction support to Financial Analysts.
- Coordinate information flow between internal and external constituencies.
- Assist with functions related to financing transactions.
- Use AI tools like Microsoft Copilot to support daily work, including research, summarization, and content generation.
- Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and potential bias.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- At least one semester of study remaining upon the start of the internship.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to business leaders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently or within a team setting.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection.
