About the role#
This is a four month paid internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will join our team as a trainee to gain hands on experience in web development. This role is based in Ottawa and follows a hybrid work model.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain web GUI components, services, and utilities using React.
- Add new component deliveries into existing and new web applications.
- Work with User Experience experts to design modern web components.
- Participate in an Agile team to refine requirements, develop code, and test products alongside developers and product managers.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a 2nd year or higher student pursuing a Master's, Bachelor's degree, or Diploma in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Experience with the development, testing, and maintenance of single-page web applications and libraries.
- Familiarity with the ReactJS framework, including state management, component lifecycles, and unit testing plugins.
- Knowledge of web communication protocols such as REST APIs, sockets, events, and notifications.
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes environments and tools.
