About the role#
Nokia is hiring a Software Developer Co-op for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Ottawa. You will join the team to learn about various aspects of the business and take on increasing responsibilities over the four-month duration.
What you'll do#
- Work with new products and technologies.
- Handle software installs, system configurations, and database backups.
- Program in PHP, HTML, and CSS using a MYSQL database.
- Update and create new features in Web Lab tools.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a 2nd year or higher student in an Engineering or Computer Science degree or diploma program.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- A desire to learn quickly.
- Helpful skills include knowledge of IP networking, experience with Linux operating systems like CentOS, and familiarity with Bash scripting.

- Location: On-site in Ottawa, Ontario.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 4 to April 30).
