About the role#
MNP is looking for a Co-op Student to join the Forensics and Litigation Support team in Edmonton. This is a full-time, eight-month position starting in January 2027. You will work on-site with a team that focuses on fraud investigations, litigation support, and risk assessments to help protect client assets.
What you'll do#
- Assist with fraud investigations, litigation support, and risk assessments for various clients and industries.
- Calculate and analyze economic loss claims, trace funds, and prepare financial documents.
- Analyze financial data to help develop independent expert financial reports and models.
- Coordinate project logistics with clients and assist in the development of project plans.
- Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to the preparation of proposals.
- Work collaboratively with the engagement team and maintain flexibility to travel when required.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in commerce or business administration, with a preference for an accounting major.
- Progress toward meeting the prerequisites for the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP).
- Previous office experience in accounting is an asset.
- Experience in customer or client service is an asset.
- Familiarity with accounting and tax software is an asset.
