About the role#
Crowe MacKay LLP is hiring CPA Articling Students to join our Assurance and Accounting team in Yellowknife. This is a full-time, paid position for individuals who have completed a university degree and intend to pursue a CPA designation. You will work on-site, performing accounting and tax services under the supervision of an engagement lead. As you gain experience, you will transition from basic audit tasks to more complex responsibilities.
What you'll do#
- Use CaseView and CaseWare to import trial balances, link financial statements, and set up file sections.
- Prepare quality working papers for compilations, review engagements, and audits.
- Complete walkthroughs and review engagement scoping documents.
- Analyze and document internal controls and organizational structures.
- Prepare T2 returns, compilations, and moderate to difficult T1 returns.
- Maintain communication with engagement leads to ensure working papers are clear and signed off.
- Complete necessary checklists and queries for each engagement.
What you'll need#
- A university degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance.
- A goal to pursue a CPA designation.
