About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Co-op Articling Accountant position within the International Corporate Tax department at MNP. You will work on-site in Toronto, contributing to tax research and client engagement tasks.
What you'll do#
- Build your knowledge of the Canadian Income Tax Act, tax treaties, and related jurisprudence.
- Research tax issues to support client needs.
- Assist in the preparation of corporate tax returns and other filings.
- Manage client files and coordinate with the engagement team.
- Communicate directly with clients and internal team members.
What you'll need#
- A completed Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business Administration, with a preference for Accounting or Finance majors.
- Current enrollment in the University of Waterloo Masters of Taxation program in good standing.
- Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Previous office experience in tax or accounting is an asset.
- Experience in customer or client service is desirable.
- A professional approach that values integrity, teamwork, and clear communication.
