About the role#
RSM Canada LLP is hiring an Audit Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Edmonton. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting our audit teams and working directly with clients.
What you'll do#
- Learn about client businesses, industry standards, and accounting systems.
- Develop a working knowledge of the RSM audit approach and internal tools.
- Assess risks and evaluate the effectiveness of client internal control structures.
- Perform substantive tests and tests of controls to identify and resolve reporting issues.
- Draft financial statements following prescribed formats.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a B.A. or B.S. degree in Accounting and have completed at least 90 credit hours.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple tasks.
- You must be able to travel to client locations and have reliable transportation.
