About the role#
As an Assurance Intern, you will work with a variety of companies across different industries. You will build relationships with clients by learning about their specific business challenges and goals. Interns participate in multiple team engagements, contributing to various parts of each assignment. This role is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2028 term.
What you'll do#
- Understand client needs, business operations, and relevant industry accounting standards.
- Learn and apply the RSM audit approach and internal tools.
- Assess risks and evaluate the effectiveness of client internal control structures.
- Perform substantive tests and tests of internal controls to identify or resolve reporting issues.
- Draft financial statements using required formats.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a B.A. or B.S. degree in Accounting.
- You have completed at least 90 credit hours.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- You must be able to travel to assigned client locations and arrange your own reliable transportation.
- This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
