About the role#
The 2027 Elevate Program and 2028 International Business Tax Internship combines a leadership development experience with a professional tax role. The Elevate program provides a three-day leadership conference and year-long development opportunities to build skills in communication, collaboration, and business acumen. Following this, you will transition into an internship focused on international tax strategies and client service.
What you'll do#
- Provide clients with strategic, integrated tax solutions focused on outbound and inbound structuring.
- Complete tax planning and research tasks.
- Develop an understanding of worldwide tax minimization, transfer pricing, and accounting for income taxes.
- Assist with IFRS/GAAP convergence and foreign assignment planning.
- Work with businesses to build cross-border tax strategies.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program in accounting.
- Completion of 90 credit hours by the time of the internship.
- Working towards a B.A., B.S., J.D., or equivalent degree.
- Demonstrated involvement and leadership in student organizations.
- A minimum 3.4 GPA is preferred.
Location & details#
- Locations: Chicago, IL; Minneapolis, MN; New York, NY; Dallas, TX; McLean, VA; Boston, MA.
- This is a full-time, on-site internship.
- Compensation is paid at a rate of $34 to $40 per hour.
- Sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this role.
- Participation in the Elevate program is voluntary and does not constitute an employment relationship prior to the internship start date.
