About the role#
This internship provides experience in federal tax services. You will join a team focused on various tax specialties, including corporate taxation, individual taxation, and pass-through entity taxation. This is a full-time, paid position for the Winter 2028 term.
What you'll do#
- Work with a team on tax specialty areas like accounting for income taxes, federal credits, and mergers and acquisitions.
- Complete tax planning and research tasks.
- Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Build your understanding of tax regulations and accounting pronouncements.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 90 credit hours.
- Enrollment in a B.A. or B.S. degree program in Accounting at an accredited university.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple tasks.
- Access to reliable transportation for travel to client locations.

- Compensation: $32 to $38 per hour.
