About the role#
As an IT Audit Intern, you will assist in executing Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 and operational audits. You will work in a supervised environment on audit areas of low to medium complexity. This role offers an opportunity to build technical knowledge of IT governance and business system platforms while contributing to the audit process.
What you'll do#
- Develop technical knowledge of Amcor IT governance, including control frameworks and general computer controls.
- Learn about Amcor business system platforms, including databases, applications, and infrastructure.
- Perform pre-audit activities for assigned areas.
- Document processes and information system controls.
- Obtain and analyze evidence to reach conclusions on assigned audit areas.
- Communicate control weaknesses and deficiencies to management with guidance.
- Prepare documentation of your work in accordance with department policies.
- Cooperate with other auditors and share information.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Accounting major.
- Junior or Senior academic standing.
