About the role#
As an Assurance Intern, you will work with a variety of clients across different industries. You will join team engagements and contribute to multiple parts of each assignment. This role is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Learn about client needs, expectations, and their specific business or industry.
- Understand the audit approach and tools used at RSM.
- Assess risks and evaluate the internal control structure of clients.
- Perform substantive tests and tests of internal controls to resolve reporting issues.
- Draft financial statements using prescribed formats.
What you'll need#
- You are an Accounting major working toward a B.A. or B.S. degree.
- You have completed at least 90 credit hours.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- You must be able to travel to assigned client locations using reliable transportation.
- This position does not offer sponsorship for work authorization.
