About the role#
ATLAS Navigators, LLC is hiring for a tax internship in our Cedar Rapids office. This is a paid position for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site from mid-January 2027 through mid-April 2027. We expect interns to work between 24 and 40 hours each week.
What you'll do#
- Support tax services for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
- Learn to use CCH Axcess Tax Software.
- Review client documents and prepare tax returns.
- Communicate with team members and clients.
- Assist with tax research and special projects.
- Take on additional accounting tasks based on your progress and performance.
What you'll need#
- You must be an accounting major who has completed at least two years of coursework at an accredited university.
- You should be tracking toward a bachelor or master degree.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- You need a professional demeanor and a willingness to participate in meetings.
- You must demonstrate flexibility and the ability to manage your own work.
