About the role#
As an Audit IT Assurance Intern, you will deliver a range of IT audit services to clients. You will work alongside Partners, Managers, and Senior Executives as part of an engagement team. This role supports financial statement audits through the testing and assessment of information systems control reviews.
What you'll do#
- Test and assess information systems controls.
- Apply knowledge of IT trends and systems processes to identify security and risk management issues.
- Interact with client management to manage expectations and resolve problems.
- Maintain professionalism and rapport with clients.
- Gain an understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives.
- Participate in recruiting and business development activities.
- Meet or exceed IT Assurance metrics.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, MIS, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Information Security experience or training is required.
- Desire to pursue a CPA, CISA, CISSP, CIA, or CISM certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective project and time management abilities.
- Ability to work in a complex team environment and travel on short notice.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Newport Beach, California.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least three days per week).
- Pay: $40 per hour.
