About the role#
As a Financial Due Diligence Intern, you will work on M&A transactions across various industries, including tech, retail, energy, and professional services. You will join an engagement team to support the planning, execution, and completion phases of deals. This role involves working closely with partners, senior executives, and peers to uncover answers to complex questions regarding acquisitions and divestitures.
What you'll do#
- Work on financial due diligence engagements from start to finish.
- Attend and participate in meetings with clients, target company management, private equity firms, and investment bankers.
- Manage data flow and monitor the dataroom.
- Collaborate with the offshore support team to build analysis packages and interpret financial data.
- Build custom analyses under the guidance of Managers and Directors to identify key insights.
- Communicate with key parties to drive the deal process and manage deadlines.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including planning and time management.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and summarize large datasets.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.

- Location: New York, New York.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least three days per week at the office or client site).
- Compensation: $40 per hour.
