About the role#
This is a full-time Audit Intern position for Summer 2027 based in Calgary, Alberta. You will gain hands-on experience in professional accounting services while working directly with client teams.
What you'll do#
- Learn about client businesses, industry standards, and specific accounting or control systems.
- Develop a working knowledge of the internal audit approach and software tools.
- Evaluate internal control structures and assess potential risks.
- Conduct substantive tests to identify and resolve reporting issues.
- Prepare financial statements according to required formats.
What you'll need#
- Completed at least 90 credit hours toward a B.A. or B.S. degree in Accounting.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer tasks.
- Ability to work well within a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Reliable transportation to travel to client sites as required.
