About the role#
This full-time internship offers hands-on experience developing web applications. You will work with technologies including C#, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, and React. Interns contribute to production systems and receive mentorship from experienced staff. This position is a primary pipeline for post-graduate hiring.
What you'll do#
- Build and improve the web UI for core applications using React.
- Design and implement new features alongside QA and other developers.
- Write, debug, and test code for systems used in production.
- Participate in team meetings and present your progress to the wider group.
- Gain exposure to modern tools like Microsoft Azure.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program for Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Demonstrated progress in software development through academics or previous work.
- Experience working with JavaScript and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with C# or database management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage independent tasks while working effectively in a team.
Location & details#
- Location: Chicago, Illinois.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5+ hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Modality: Hybrid, with at least 3 days per week required in the office.
- Compensation: $23 - $46 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
