About the role#
Dev Technology Group is hiring interns for the Summer 2027 program. You will work on software development projects that support government clients. This role involves participating in an Agile environment and collaborating with other interns on a technical project. US citizenship is required for this position. You must be able to obtain a public trust clearance or higher.
What you'll do#
- Practice Agile methodology by attending all Scrum-related meetings.
- Analyze system issues by researching code to find root causes.
- Develop web pages for government clients using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and React.
- Collaborate with fellow interns on a technical project and present the results to the executive team.
- Perform external software testing.
- Write and maintain user guide documentation.
- Attend corporate meetings to learn about business development, finance, and project management.
What you'll need#
- Rising junior or senior status working toward a bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with React UI and Node.js.
- Experience with AWS Cloud Tools.
- Ability to research problems and implement solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based in Reston, Virginia.
- The work modality is hybrid, requiring you to commute to the office a minimum of 2 days a week.
