About the role#
Park Place Technologies is hiring a Software Development Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Highland Heights, Ohio. You will contribute to the analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of Network Analytics software systems and internal tools.
What you'll do#
- Follow established software development life cycles and processes.
- Collaborate with product management to define requirements for new features and enhancements.
- Translate requirements into technical specifications and documentation.
- Work with architects to design solutions and investigate their feasibility.
- Produce technical design documentation and participate in peer reviews.
- Implement software components according to design specifications.
- Write automated test scripts and perform code-level unit testing.
- Partner with the QA team to create test plans and execute functional, integration, and system testing.
- Resolve software bugs and technical issues identified during development or by customers.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- An analytical mindset with a natural aptitude for problem solving.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work as a proactive team player.
