About the role#
As an Artificial Intelligence Engineering Intern, you will support the development and management of machine learning models and AI solutions. This role offers hands-on experience in building tools that address business challenges. You will work alongside data analysts and engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions while learning from senior team members.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the team to design scalable AI applications.
- Write reliable, reusable code following established standards.
- Support the full Software Development Life Cycle, from requirement gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Build data pipelines using Python, Spark, Azure ML, and OpenAI.
- Troubleshoot and resolve AI performance issues.
- Document your work and contribute ideas during team meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python (including Spark and pandas) and SQL.
- Understanding of AI methodologies like neural networks, regression analysis, and supervised or unsupervised learning.
- Experience with Azure cloud services, such as Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and Functions.
- Familiarity with software fundamentals like Object-Oriented Design and SOLID principles.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Bonus points for experience with Git, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Agile methodologies, and Test Driven Development.
