About the role#
The Reliability and Analytics Intern assists the Power Delivery department with technical support and data management. You will work alongside staff to maintain records, support asset management, and help with administrative tasks. This role requires a self-starter who can handle independent work and adapt to changing conditions.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support to the Power Delivery team using Microsoft applications, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Collect and clean data for non-NERC transmission assets.
- Organize and maintain test evidence for transmission assets.
- Manage Power Delivery reliability records.
- Develop and maintain the mobile data collection system, including form creation and data source population.
- Align asset naming conventions within EAMS and Excel trackers.
- Create testing materials for technician skills assessments.
- Prepare requisitions and purchase orders for District Managers.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Attend directed seminars and workshops.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Mathematics, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to learn and use new data software.
- Valid state driver’s license.
- Willingness to work in challenging weather conditions when supporting plant testing.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
