About the role#
Sentinel Technologies is looking for an AI Intern to join our AI and Automation Team. This role focuses on the intersection of AI technology and business strategy. You will work directly with internal stakeholders to find areas where AI can drive value. This internship emphasizes business-facing implementation skills, such as discovering needs, evaluating possibilities, and communicating the potential of AI tools. You will have access to our team of AI engineers, architects, and consultants throughout your time with us.

- Identify and explore opportunities for AI to provide value.
- Engage with internal stakeholders across the organization.
- Develop skills in AI implementation and business communication.
- Collaborate with AI engineers, architects, and consultants.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior or higher in a Bachelor’s degree program.
- Major in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Center Management, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- A can-do attitude and the ACE factor (Attitude, Compassion, and Enthusiasm).
- Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools, cloud, or data centers is preferred.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position based in Downers Grove, Illinois.
- You must have a car, a valid driver's license, and proof of vehicle insurance, as this role requires travel between locations and the transport of equipment.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
