About the role#
Park Place Technologies is hiring a Procurement Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Highland Heights, Ohio. You will support our supply chain operations by managing regional materials planning and inventory flow.
What you'll do#
- Manage materials planning activities for the region.
- Coordinate sparing for new product introductions, including initial stocking quantities.
- Ensure localized inventory reaches field and customer sites.
- Publish key performance metrics on a timely basis.
- Learn and use tools like ASTEA, CRM, and Min/Max systems.
- Provide regional input on quotes for equipment spare planning to help meet service level agreements.
- Run continuous improvement activities.
- Execute procurement of components from our preferred suppliers list.
- Communicate with global suppliers to confirm shipping schedules and monitor open purchase orders.
- Report material availability issues and advise on part availability for new customers.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Supply Chain or a related field.
- Strong skills in Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to use materials management tools.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work well across different departments.
- A strong work ethic.
- Prior experience in customer service or bookkeeping is preferred but not required.
