About the role#
This internship program offers students the chance to gain experience in materials management and logistics within the aviation and aerospace industry. You will work within the Integrated Business Planning organization, which covers demand and supply planning, inventory management, capacity planning, and engine assembly. This is a full-time, paid position for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Support the Integrated Business Planning organization in their daily operations.
- Assist professionals with planning material requirements for production processes.
- Help forecast spare parts to ensure supply chain efficiency.
- Contribute to processes that facilitate on-time engine delivery.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of planning workflows.
- Work cross-functionally in office settings and engage hands-on on the shop floor to support operations.
- Take on meaningful assignments and projects designed to provide real-world impact.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Completion of at least 30 credit hours before the start of the internship.
- Active enrollment status through the completion of the internship session.
- U.S. citizenship is required for access to program information.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Experience with SAP and knowledge of artificial intelligence applications to business processes are preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: East Hartford, Connecticut.
- Work Modality: This is an on-site role. You will work primarily at the facility.
