About the role#
As a Supply Chain Intern in Long Beach, you will join a multidisciplinary team focused on the procurement and delivery of hardware for space systems and launch products. You will work alongside professionals to apply engineering and industry concepts to solve real-world challenges.
What you'll do#
- Source and procure parts from suppliers around the world.
- Manage supplier relationships and identify opportunities to reduce costs.
- Ensure the delivery of critical hardware to support space systems.
- Attend regular 1:1 meetings with mentors and supervisors to track progress.
- Participate in tech talks, networking events, and social sessions with other interns and employees.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s, master's, or doctorate program in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Business Administration.
- At least one semester of school remaining after the internship concludes.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above.
- At least 3 months of corporate experience in supply chain functions.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or PowerBI is preferred.
- Experience with Python, Six Sigma, Infor LN, 5S principles, or warehouse operations is a plus.
- A GPA of 3.5 or above and 6+ months of corporate supply chain experience are preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Long Beach, California.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Modality: Full-time, on-site for at least 24 consecutive weeks beginning in January, February, or March 2027.
- Compensation: $25.00 USD per hour.
- This is a paid internship. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
