About the role#
We are hiring an Agronomy Operations Intern to join our team in Gettysburg, South Dakota. This is a full-time, paid internship that offers hands-on experience in the farming industry. You will work on-site and gain practical knowledge of agronomy operations while supporting our local customers.
What you'll do#
- Learn core agronomy skills including crop scouting, product application, and seed management.
- Handle mixing procedures, truck driving, and product delivery.
- Perform daily agronomy and seed operations.
- Monitor inventory quality and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for equipment like sprayers, trucks, conveyors, and towers.
- Provide customer service and maintain a workspace that meets all safety and environmental policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or related degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- A background in agriculture is helpful, though not required.
- Previous internship experience is a plus.
