About the role#
We are hiring an Agronomy Intern for our Adams, North Dakota location. You will work with our Country Operations team to provide service and information to local cooperative customers. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Support Agronomy Production Sales Specialists with soil sampling, crop scouting, and field problem solving.
- Use integrated pest management techniques to set treatment thresholds.
- Write reports for customers and supervisors.
- Learn about our agronomy products and services while helping with counter sales and product delivery.
- Manage inventory and learn to operate warehouse and plant systems, including Agris invoicing.
- Maintain equipment and facilities while following safety and environmental policies.
- Perform custom application work if qualified.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Agriculture degree program, such as Crop Science or Ag Business.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Background or experience in agriculture.
- A previous internship is preferred.
- Commercial Application Certification is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
