About the role#
This Summer 2027 internship offers a hands-on introduction to talent acquisition. You will learn how recruiting supports business operations, project teams, and federal government contracting. The program focuses on building a foundation in candidate research, data management, and the recruiting lifecycle. You will also collaborate with other interns on a project to present to the executive team.
What you'll do#
- Assist recruiters with sourcing candidates for technical and corporate roles using job boards and professional networks.
- Review resumes and candidate profiles while developing pre-screening questions.
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
- Use Excel and other tools to organize recruiting information and identify trends.
- Help create job descriptions and post openings.
- Research market talent to build pipelines for specific roles.
- Communicate with candidates to support a positive experience throughout the process.
- Observe strategy meetings to understand how business needs translate into recruiting requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a rising Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Psychology, or Communications.
- US citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain a public trust clearance or higher.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

- Modality: Hybrid (must be able to commute to the office a minimum of two days per week).
