About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Highland Heights, Ohio. You will work on-site to gain practical experience in HR disciplines including employee relations, compliance, performance management, training, and talent acquisition. The program helps you apply your classroom knowledge to real business goals and gives you exposure to various HR specialties.
What you'll do#
- Drive HR initiatives and lead continuous improvement through intern projects.
- Assist managers with employee relations, compliance, performance management, and career development.
- Create new tools and resources for employees.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret employee data to help inform HR strategies.
- Support the team with candidate workflows, onboarding, and exit processes.
- Provide administrative assistance on various ad hoc projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team, build relationships, and solve problems.
- A self-starter mindset and the ability to take initiative.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
