About the role#
Dev Technology Group is hiring interns for our Summer 2027 program. You will work on technology projects supporting government clients, corporate operations, or research and development. This role focuses on data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and product development within an Agile environment.
What you'll do#
- Attend Scrum meetings including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Develop solutions using current AI and machine learning practices.
- Analyze datasets to create visualizations and identify trends.
- Perform lean-agile investigations such as root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with other interns on a technical project to present to the executive team.
- Write and maintain user documentation.
What you'll need#
- Rising junior or senior status pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computational Science, AI, Data Science, or Computer Science.
- Experience with Python, Jupyter Notebook, and data science libraries.
- Completed coursework in Java, Python, or another object-oriented language.
- Ability to obtain a public trust clearance or higher.
- US citizenship.
- Ability to commute to the Reston office at least 2 days per week.
