About the role#
This is a 10-week, full-time internship for the Summer of 2027. You will work within the Network and Technology Digital Group, supporting the infrastructure that connects millions of people. This is a hands-on role where you will own projects that directly impact network performance and the customer experience.
What you'll do#
- Support engineers who design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure.
- Act as a critical integrator and verifier for new systems.
- Use your judgment to stress-test, evaluate, and deploy agentic AI solutions into enterprise workflows.
- Collaborate with mentors across various business units.
- Influence cross-functional teams and build professional trust.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related major.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028, with good academic standing.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or future sponsorship.
- Ability to participate in the full 10-week program from June 2027 to August 2027.
- Hands-on experience with applied AI and autonomous agent orchestration.
- Foundational knowledge of network protocols and topologies, including TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, and MPLS.
- Experience with scripting and coding languages such as Python, Java, or R.
- Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional projects and solve complex problems.
- Willingness to travel and relocate as needed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Basking Ridge, New Jersey.
- Modality: Hybrid, with a minimum of three days per week in the office.
- Compensation: $27.00 per hour.
