About the role#
This is a full-time, 10-week summer internship for students currently enrolled at NYU, Rutgers, NJIT, UT Dallas, UT Arlington, or Texas A&M. You will work on real-time projects within the Verizon Consumer Group, focusing on customer experience and journey optimization. This role is based in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, and operates on a hybrid schedule.
What you'll do#
- Analyze customer journey friction across both digital and physical touchpoints.
- Partner with product management, operations, and technology teams to support the deployment of omnichannel solutions.
- Gather, synthesize, and interpret customer feedback, behavioral data, and operational metrics.
- Advocate for customer-first enhancements based on your findings.
- Collaborate with mentors across various business units.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program at NYU, Rutgers, NJIT, UT Dallas, UT Arlington, or Texas A&M.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Good academic standing.
- Ability to work full-time for 10 weeks during the summer of 2027.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for future sponsorship.
- Willingness and ability to travel and relocate.
- Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication skills.
- Project or work experience in designing end-to-end customer or user journeys.
- Majors in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields are preferred.

- Location: Basking Ridge, New Jersey.
- Modality: Hybrid (includes work from home and assigned office days).
- Compensation: $25.00 per hour.
