About the role#
Dev Technology Group is seeking interns for our Summer 2027 program. This role offers exposure to corporate marketing within the IT services industry. You will support our teams by applying problem-solving skills to current initiatives and learning how marketing functions within a federal government contracting environment.
What you'll do#
- Create social media content and campaigns for LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platforms.
- Design graphics for the company website, social media, and other branded materials.
- Support internal communications, including drafting newsletter content and monthly announcements.
- Assist with event planning and corporate activities.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to build campaigns for recruiting events.
- Work with fellow interns on a technical project and present your findings to the executive team.
- Attend corporate meetings to learn about business development, finance, and project management.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor degree in communications, marketing, graphic design, or a related field.
- Experience with writing, such as blog posts, press releases, or corporate documents.
- Proficiency with Adobe and Canva.
- Experience using LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
- Ability to work proactively and follow tasks through to completion.
- Strong attention to detail.
- US citizenship is required. You must be able to obtain a public trust clearance or higher.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship based in Reston, Virginia.
- The role is hybrid, and you must be able to commute to the office at least two days per week.
