About the role#
This 10-week summer internship program is designed for business students to sharpen commercial and customer-facing skills. You will contribute to projects across a global IT distributor while exploring go-to-market career pathways. The program runs full time, 40 hours per week, beginning May 17, 2027. You will build professional networks through senior leader speaker sessions, peer engagement events, and job shadowing.
What you'll do#
- Support department and business function projects, applying classroom learning to real commercial work in partner engagement, marketing, and revenue growth.
- Sales Interns: Support contracts, procurement processes, and compliance documentation, generate quotes, and track orders.
- Marketing Interns: Create promotional content, design and publish internal newsletters, and develop one-pagers and LinkedIn content.
- Vendor Management Interns: Maintain vendor records and resolve invoice discrepancies, shipment issues, and payment variances.
- Business Development Interns: Identify vendor and reseller partners, conduct data sourcing, and perform gap analysis.
- Product Management Interns: Support product lifecycle management, manage quote extensions, license renewals, and add-on requests.
- Data Analytics Interns: Clean, flag, and extract data, build machine learning forecasting models, and analyze reports and workspace usage.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student with junior standing or above by summer 2027.
- Pursuing a business-related major, such as Marketing, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Communications, or Economics.
- Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with comfort working with partners and internal stakeholders.
- Familiarity with AI tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, is preferred.
Location & details#
- Locations: Greenville, South Carolina and Clearwater, Florida.
- Schedule: Full time, 40 hours per week for 10 weeks.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with three days per week in the office.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
- Housing: May be available in Greenville, South Carolina for eligible students.
