About the role#
This internship supports the Department of Subways within the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. You will work with the Executive Vice President's team to manage hiring metrics, maintain administrative records, and assist with daily office operations. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position based in New York for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Maintain Power BI reports to track hiring vacancies and time-to-hire metrics.
- Identify and correct data discrepancies to ensure accurate records.
- Monitor hiring processes to ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Prepare and distribute regular hiring reports for the team.
- Coordinate with Subways Liaisons and the EVP's office to gather necessary information.
- Provide general administrative support to keep office operations running.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate program with at least a 2.5 GPA or a graduate program with at least a 2.8 GPA.
- Majors in Business Administration, Data Science, or related fields.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
