The Data Communication Architecture & System Team focuses on high-speed data communication PHY product lines, including Ethernet systems over copper cabling, optical, and SerDes. This internship provides an opportunity to work with advanced signal processing, algorithms, and architectures used in mass-production SOCs.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the DSP Architecture team under the guidance of a mentor.
- Build simulation models and run performance simulations.
- Analyze lab and simulation data to optimize designs, ranging from block-level components to top-level system reviews.
- Collaborate with peers to evaluate ideas through system modeling and data collection.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a PhD or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Strong fundamental knowledge of DSP, communication theory, and system design.
- Proficiency in system modeling and data communication theory.
- Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
