About the role#
The Optics team at Marvell is responsible for the design, verification, and validation of integrated high-speed optical components. As an intern, you will contribute to the full product lifecycle, supporting the development of platforms that integrate Silicon photonics, amplifiers, and controller ASICs.
What you'll do#
- Translate product requirements into technical specifications.
- Perform photonics device modeling using commercial simulation tools.
- Utilize design automation EDA software for product development.
- Collaborate with the team on hardware validation, performance testing, and data analysis.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an MS or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Engineering.
- Strong understanding of photonic device and semiconductor physics.
- Experience with component design, modeling, and RF validation.
- Proficiency with industry-standard photonics simulation tools.
- Familiarity with standard Si/CMOS/MEMS process technologies for the fabrication and integration of electrical and optical devices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
