About the role#
This internship involves the electrical validation of custom Marvell ASICs designed for high-speed Ethernet and PCIe IO. You will work on-site in Santa Clara as part of a team of eight engineers. Your work focuses on characterizing hardware and developing test infrastructure that supports data center technology.
What you'll do#
- Analyze overnight test data and compare results against expected outcomes.
- Set up and calibrate high-speed benches using oscilloscopes, bit error rate testers, network analyzers, and pattern generators.
- Characterize device parameters and document findings in summary reports.
- Debug unexpected results in collaboration with your mentor and team.
- Build Python automation and AI-assisted validation agents to improve daily workflows.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between Fall 2027 and Summer 2028.
- Solid grasp of engineering fundamentals and microelectronic circuits and systems.
- Knowledge of, or strong interest in, RF systems, high-speed data transmission, and signal integrity.
- Programming experience in Python.
- Experience with test automation, electronics, PCBA, data processing, and visualization is desired.
