The Data Communication Architecture & System Team at Marvell is seeking an intern to contribute to high-speed data communication PHY product lines. This role focuses on Ethernet systems over copper cabling, optical, and SerDes technologies. You will work under the guidance of a mentor to gain experience in signal processing, algorithms, and system architecture used in mass-production SOCs.
What you'll do#
- Build simulation models and run performance simulations.
- Analyze lab and simulation data to optimize designs ranging from block-level components to top-level system reviews.
- Collaborate with peers to evaluate ideas and concepts through system modeling and data collection.
- Contribute directly to the DSP Architecture team's ongoing projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a PhD or MS degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Strong fundamental knowledge of DSP, communication theory, and system design.
- Proficiency in system modeling.
- Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.

- Location: Santa Clara, California.
- Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Full-time internship.
- Compensation: Paid position with a base pay range of $28 - $56 per hour.
- Eligibility: Applicants must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. export control laws.
