About the role#
The Data Communication Architecture & System Team develops technology for high-speed data communication PHY product lines. This work supports Ethernet systems over copper cabling, optical, and SerDes architectures using advanced signal processing and algorithms for mass-production SOCs.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the DSP Architecture team under the guidance of a mentor.
- Build simulation models and run performance simulations to optimize designs ranging from block-level components to top-level system reviews.
- Analyze lab and simulation data to validate performance.
- Collaborate with peers to evaluate ideas through system modeling and data collection.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a PhD or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Strong fundamental knowledge of DSP, communication theory, and system design.
- Proficiency in system modeling.
- Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.

- Compensation: $28 - $56 per hour.
