As an Analog Engineer Intern, you will join the Central Engineering team to design and validate FET and BiCMOS circuits for high-speed broadband ICs. You will work within the Optical Digital Signal Processing group to contribute to DSP transceivers that support high-speed fiber optic data communication systems ranging from 10Gbps to 1600Gbps.
What you'll do#
- Understand product requirements and how your specific block integrates into the system.
- Take ownership of a design block for delivery into a Marvell DSP transceiver.
- Evaluate tradeoffs between various circuit topologies.
- Perform schematic capture and layout using the Cadence Virtuoso design environment.
- Run schematic-level and post-layout simulations to quantify and optimize circuit performance.
- Document your design work and conduct design reviews with the team.
What you'll need#
- MS Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Strong fundamental knowledge of circuit design.
- Experience with detailed transistor-level design.
- Understanding of device physics, feedback, and loop stability analysis.
- Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
