About the role#
This internship is part of the MAHLE North American Electrical Engineering group. You will work on the interface between customers and electrical component suppliers throughout the product lifecycle. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Lockport, New York.
What you'll do#
- Write and develop embedded software and internal tools.
- Build GUI programs for PC and embedded Linux touch screens.
- Debug, test, and document software projects.
- Assist with tasks based on current project requirements.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in C and embedded programming.
- Experience with MatLab/Simulink and GUI programming.
- Knowledge of Git, control theory, and general debugging tools.
- Participation in engineering clubs or relevant hobbies is a plus.
