About the role#
This internship sits within the MAHLE North American Electrical Engineering group. You will work on the interface between customers and electrical component suppliers, covering the period from acquisition to series production. The role focuses on brushed and brushless blower motors.
What you'll do#
- Manage the existing warranty return process for electrical components.
- Identify and carry out improvements to the warranty return workflow.
- Write and execute new electrical test procedures.
- Run performance tests on engineering samples.
- Build wire harnesses and controllers.
- Help debug issues related to in-house fabrication.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering Technology.
- Experience with laboratory equipment like scopes and meters.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Practical skills in wire harness fabrication and electronics hardware building, such as soldering.
- Previous internships, engineering clubs, or technical hobbies are a plus.
