About the role#
We are hiring an Electrical Engineering Intern for our Power Delivery team in Saint Paul. This is a full-time, on-site role. You will work directly with project teams to support electrical design efforts.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate and verify as-built drawings and perform field investigations.
- Set up models and drawings across multiple disciplines.
- Design electrical systems, including building electrical, electric vehicle charging, and Ports and Harbors electrification.
- Prepare schematic designs and feasibility studies.
- Develop reports, design documents, single-line diagrams, and load schedules.
- Perform energy calculations and power system studies, such as Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination.
- Design lighting systems and controls, along with normal, emergency, and renewable power systems.
- Collaborate daily with cross-functional team members on schedules and project deliverables.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
Location & details#
- Location: Saint Paul, Minnesota.
- This is an on-site, full-time position.
- The pay rate for this role is $30 to $31 per hour.
